T20 World Cup 2024 semi-final qualification scenarios: Rules, chances and points required

  4. If teams remain equal, the team with a higher ranking according to the ICC Men’s T20I Rankings as of May 31, 2024, will be placed higher.

Breakdown of Scenarios for Group 1 and Group 2

Determining the Semi-Finals Fixture

The semi-final fixtures will be decided by the following process:

  • Semi-final 1: Winner of Group 2 vs Runners-up of Group 1
  • Semi-final 2: Winner of Group 1 vs Runners-up of Group 2
